Hose king nipples and its properties
A hose king nipple is a barbed end nipple with a threaded end used in hose connections.
The barbed end of the hose king nipple hold the nipple to the hose.
Its position is between the double bolt clamp and the hose itself.
Hose king nipples or barbed nipples do the same work with a mulconroy fitting or hydraulic crimper fittings .
The only different is that a hose crimper or mulconroy fittings has a groove at which the sleeve or its sleeve will be held firmly.
While the barbed nipple has no groove nor a sleeve.
how hose king nipple can be used
Hose king nipples can be used on a hydraulic hose that has a less 100R2AT wire application. But its more safer to be used on air and water hoses with a maximum working pressure of 300 psi.
Hose king nipples are adapted to different hose couplings
SUCH AS:
1). Its adapted to a weco union fitting that has a below pressure of weco union fig 200 .
2). It can be used with a hydraulic quick connect coupler connect with a pressure rating below 3,000 psi.
3) Hose king nipples can be adapted to a camlock fittings of any kind and type.
4). It can be adapted to a crowfoot or universal coupling.

Its made up of iether brass, carbon steel or stainless steel materials.
Sometimes they are used with a hydraulic pumps with a low pressure. And sometimes can be used with a crimper machine for pressing low pressure hydraulic hoses and oil hose.
